DNR College : A Temple of Education - A Seat of Learning

Prior to the year 1945, there was no college in this region. People had to move to distant areas for their higher education. Then the society was Agrobased society. In those days college education is a mere dream to the poor. In this situation forecasting the future need of education Sri Dantuluri Narayana Raju founded and started WGB (West Godavari District Bhimavaram College) College on 4th July 1945. After his demise WGB College named after him by the elders. In gratitude and memory of his great services to this region.

At present DNR (Dantuluri Narayana Raju) College is the only established college in the district with many branches of science, arts, commerce, life sciences, education, law, computer applications and management courses, fulfilling the need of quality based education to the neighbour villages.

Under the eminent leader ship of Sri Gokaraju Narsimha Raju- President, and Dynamic leadership of Sri Gadiraju Satyanarayana raju (Councilor babu)-Secretary & Correspondent of DNR College association, DNR College is day by day developing. They brought new science and technology oriented courses and imparting quality based education to students at nominal fee. The "Duo" have been spreading the name and fame of DNR College far and wide.

The present president Sri Gokaraju Narsimha Raju get " NAAC " accredit ion 'A' grade to the college. DNR College is one of the reputed colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

D.N.R Association is giving education from Kindergarten to Post graduation. Blooming like a fragrant flower spreading educational fragrance in Bhimavaram town.
